Ciao a tutte! Bretagna e Normandia!
Hello to all! A hot weekend ahead, so I thought to take you all to... Brittany and Normandy, this means: France! I was there in the Summer of 2006. The weather was mild, the scenery beautiful. What do you say, would you leave with me for this little journey made of many pics taken during those days?

Li ho veramente apprezzati!
Before beginning my holiday waffles, I wish to say a big thank you for all your messages on previous three posts. I truly appreciated them!

Ora bagagli in mano, si parte!
Now luggage in hand, let's go!
"Domaine de la Londe" Let's close the eyes for a moment and when we open them again we are in Normandy, in the departement of Calvados. First of all we find accomodation for the night. I take you to the B&B "Domaine de la Londe".
Loro ci danno il benvenuto
They welcome us
in questo posto incantevole.
in this amazing place.
Horses, hydrangeas bushes and apple trees surround the house.
This is the bedroom waiting for us. In a delighful shade of green.
La nostra gita incomincia dalla magica
Honfleur
The rainy and grey weather seemed to highlight the dramatic solemnity of those places.
On the way to Brittany we meet many picturesque views.
I can not help but think how pretty they were all coloured...
Meravigliose ortensie.... Gorgeous hydrangeas... Porte/finestre dai colori sgargianti adornate da lussureggianti fioriture...
Quaint and colorful doors/windows adorned with stunning flowers...
Painted shop windows or signs, but also wrought iron signs...
even a vintage car painted in the distinctive "turquoise" colour...
Affollatissimo all'inverosimile!
Extremely impossible crowded!
I close this post with some pics of
Dinan. The town itself is small, ancient, pretty and romantic. I really liked it a lot.
In theory the trip is not over yet. There is still the coastal Bittany part to show, perhaps the most beautiful.
But, at this point, I prefer to stop here. I do not know how many of you have already left this blog, yawning bored.
If you have enjoyed all that the tour will continue next weekend, otherwise, very simply...I will post something different.
Buon fine settimana a tutte!
Have a great week end!
