Di nuovo al mare - Back to the sea

Ciao a tutte!

E' passato più di un mese dal mio ultimo post dove scrivevo di essere appena tornata dal mare... bene, ora guardate questa foto...

Hello everyone!

It 's been over a month since my last post where I said that I have just returned from the sea ... well, now look at this picture ...

... ci sono di nuovo!!!! Questa volta dovrebbe essere una vera e propria vancaza di un paio di settimane, sempre che il tempo settembrino lo permetta. 

Ho con me numerosi nuovi decori da portare a termine ed il portatile, così da riuscire a fare un po' di tutto!

Il mese di agosto è passato tra i pennelli, sia piccoli per i miei dipinti che grossi per i muri di casa. 

Nei prossimi giorni vi mostrerò alcuni lavori fatti nelle settimane passate.

Per il momento questi sono i gatti che segnano il tempo qui, in giusto stile marinaro!

... I'm back again!! This time should be a couple of weeks vacancy, as long as the September weather permits.

With me, however, there are many new decorations to complete and the laptop, so that I can do a bit' of everything!

August passed between brushes: small ones for my paintings and bigger for the walls of the house! 

In the coming days I'm going to show you some work done in the past weeks.

For the moment these are the cats that mark the time here... in just a nautical theme!

"Miciogatte" in mostra

Per il quarto anno consecutivo, in concomitanza con la festa delle donne, il mio Comune ha organizzato una mostra intitolata “Arte al femminile”.

Per una quindicina di giorni, presso il Municipio, vengono esposte arte e creatività, nate da animi femminili, declinate in tante sfumature diverse.
Anche in questa edizione sono stata invitata a partecipare con la mia creatività. Per questa occasione tre "miciogatte" hanno voluto saltar fuori dai miei pennelli per starsene in bella mostra sulla mensola del finto camino, attorniate dalle mie immancabili rose.

For the fourth consecutive year my town has organized an exhibition entitled "Art of the women."

For a fortnight, at the Town Hall, art and creativity, born from female hearts and declined in many different shades, are exposed.

Also for this edition I was invited to participate with my creativity. For this occasion three whimsy kitties wanted to come out from my brushes to stand, attracting attention, on the mantelshelf of the mock fireplace, surrounded by my roses.

Ve le presento: Mairin la rossa, Odette la bianca e Anais la grigia.
Una volta finita l’esposizione, tra una settimana, già me le vedo sbirciare curiose fuori dalle finestre di casa appoggiate sul davanzale interno. Mairin e Anais sono alte quasi cm.60 quindi direi che dall’esterno si possono far notare!!! Prima però verranno trasformate in patterns disponibili a tutte coloro che vogliono ritrovarsi simili gatte vanitose in casa!
Let me introduce them: Mairin the red one, Odette the white one, Anais the gray one. I can already see them,once the exhibition will be ended, looking out the windows of my house resting on the sill inside. Mairin and Anais are high almost 2 feet tall and I think that they can be seen well from the outside! Before ending up on the sills will be transformed into patterns available to all those who want to paint and have these vain cats at home!
Il finto camino ha invece già una sua piccola storia. E’ stato costruito dal mio papà e dipinto da me due anni e mezzo fa. Faceva infatti parte del servizio “Buon Natale da Londra” che ho realizzato per lo speciale "Tutto Natale” edito da Lumina nel dicembre 2006. Ecco qui di seguito alcune foto dell’articolo dove avevo dipinto mobili, oggettistica e realizzato decorazioni immaginando un Natale in epoca vittoriana. The fireplace has already a little story. My dad made and I painted it two years and half ago. It was part of the "Merry Christmas from London" article that I made for the "Special Christmas" issue published by Lumina in December 2006. Here are some photos of my painted forniture, decorative items and handmade decorations feaured in that issue. I imagined a Christmas in Victorian times.
