Saluto a Settembre - Goodbye September

Si conclude oggi il mese che ci ha accompagnato nell'autunno.

Domani arriva Ottobre ed io lo aspetto con trepidazione e un po' di ansia.

Ottobre, nel corso degli anni passati, ha visto la nascita di mio figlio,  il raggiungimento di mie importanti tappe lavorative e di forti preoccupazioni per la mia salute. 

Anche quest'anno porta con sé premesse di impegno e di qualche novità, ma di questo vi parlerò un pochino più avanti. 

Today ends the month that has brought us into Fall.

Tomorrow October will be here, and I'm looking for it with trepidation and a little anxiety.
October, over the past years, has seen the birth of my son, the achievement of important milestones in my work and serious concerns for my health. 

Also this year brings with it assumptions of commitment and novelity, but  I will talk about this a little bit later.

Con questo post saluto settembre con melagrane e rustiche roselline. 

I colori sono caldi, ma ancora leggeri e delicati perchè settembre, per me, chiama una certa dolcezza, morbidezza, freschezza e allegria. 

With this post I greet September with some pomegranates and cozy roses. 

The colors are warm , but still soft and delicate because September, for me, still wants softness, sweetness, freshness and joy.

Chi mi segue ormai sa che amo questi colori e che le melagrane sono la mia passione.

Chickens in my kitchen

"Chickens in my kitchen" = "Galline nella mia cucina", in inglese suona meglio  ed il concetto non cambia: la mia cucina è piena di galline.  

Preciso: di galline dipinte.

I mean: painted chickens!

Settima scorsa nel pollaio... ehmmm... in cucina è arrivata una nuova cuoca gallina!

L'idea e la tag dipinta sono mie, l'insieme è stato realizzato da Angela.

Le ho spedito il decoro dicendole "fai tu" e lei è stata bravissima a confezionare questa copertina per il mio ricettario, perfettamente in tono con lo stile della cucina.

Non solo, vi ha anche inserito un nuovo quaderno senza neppure sapere quanto fosse malconcio il mio vecchio raccoglitore!

Come al solito Angela è attenta ai dettagli ed ha aggiunto un segnalibro con un bottoncino a dolcetto.

Semplicemente perfetto, la mia cuoca gallina ha già fatto amicizia con tutte le sue simili ed a me non resta che incominciare a trascrivere le mie ricette!

Last week in the henhouse... ehmmm... in the kitchen a new chief cook chicken arrived!

The idea and the painted tag were mine, the whole cover was made ​​by Angela.

I sent her the hen, saying "do what you want" and she was very good to release this cover for my recipebook, perfectly matching my kitchen style.

Not only that, she has also added a new notebook without even knowing how battered is my old one!  

As usual Angela is careful to details and added a bookmark with a little cupcake button. 

Simply perfect, my cook chicken has already made ​​friends with all other chicks and I do not just have to start writing down my recipes!

Queste sono solo un paio delle tante zucche che stanno crescendo nel mio orto.

Con oggi l'estate è definitivamente archiviata, la spiaggia sembra già un ricordo lontano ed io sono tornata al mio solito quotidiano.

Adoro l'autunno, la sua aria frizzante, intensi profumi, splendidi colori e dolce malinconia.

These are just a couple of the many pumpkins that are growing in my garden.

Autumn is arrived, the beach seems already a distant memory and I'm back to my everyday life.

I love Fall, its crisp air, spiced smells, beautiful colors and gentle melancholy.

C'è ancora qualcosa di non postato che sta attendendo dall'estate appena passata.

Sono le splendide creazioni ricevute da Francesca, mia partner nella prima tappa dello swap "4 Seasons & 1 Christmas".

Pur non conoscendomi è stata in grado di realizzare tre oggetti che rispecchiano completamente i miei gusti. 

I colori sono quelli che più amo, le forme sono lineari, senza fronzoli, i tessuti sono quelli che preferisco. 

Lascio parlare le immagini, anche se le foto non rendono loro giustizia.

Di nuovo al mare - Back to the sea

Ciao a tutte!

E' passato più di un mese dal mio ultimo post dove scrivevo di essere appena tornata dal mare... bene, ora guardate questa foto...

Hello everyone!

It 's been over a month since my last post where I said that I have just returned from the sea ... well, now look at this picture ...

... ci sono di nuovo!!!! Questa volta dovrebbe essere una vera e propria vancaza di un paio di settimane, sempre che il tempo settembrino lo permetta. 

Ho con me numerosi nuovi decori da portare a termine ed il portatile, così da riuscire a fare un po' di tutto!

Il mese di agosto è passato tra i pennelli, sia piccoli per i miei dipinti che grossi per i muri di casa. 

Nei prossimi giorni vi mostrerò alcuni lavori fatti nelle settimane passate.

Per il momento questi sono i gatti che segnano il tempo qui, in giusto stile marinaro!

... I'm back again!! This time should be a couple of weeks vacancy, as long as the September weather permits.
